Such a gorgeous dress. Could be handmade. I don't know and really can't tell. No tags.
Comes with ribbons to keep the dress up cheapest and has a built-in slip, up at the bra line.

*length, shoulder ( if it were to be on the shoulder, not off) to hem: 44" - hits a few inches below the knee
*across chest: 16" (32")- can stretch a little to 33"
*across waist: 12"(total 24") - I'd recommend waist is closer to a 23 or less to fit comfortably
*hips: free
*model is 5'8"- 34-24-34- she squeezed in the dress for photos- I'd recommend 32-23-free body
*100% cotton, lightweight
*I'd call this early 1970s- very much in the gunne sax style
