A beautiful vintage edition of Jane Austen's classic novel, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. Scare Library of Classics edition published between 1930's and 1950 by Collins Clear-Type Press. Contains a beautiful, black and white frontispiece cheapest illustration plate.

Bound in a dark blue leatherette, with full blue stain page edges and original slipcase. Silver tooling to spine, decorative blue end papers to front and rear, no inscriptions. Pages are bright and clear with no visible foxing, the occasional fold or wrinkle in the page. Binding is in good vintage condition with only light wear
