Product code: Cheapest Lunar Ice
An original acrylic painting, measuring approx 600mm by 300 mm. An ideal gift for an astronomy or space exploration fan.
At the poles of the Moon lie valleys of eternal darkness, where the Sun hasn't risen for billions of years. From a ledge overlooking one of those valleys the Sun and Earth sit on the horizon, while light from a passing string of comets throws a weak illumination into the valley.
In the valley bottom, billions of years of lunar frost cheapest have sunk into the soil, and grown into spires atop of rocks. Lunar berries - actually spheres of brightly coloured volcanic glass - colour the sunlight soil red or green, and lie scattered in the foreground.
