Printed in Great Britain this is almost half a century old yet in extremely good condition. No inscriptions and no markings. The pages are clean and each lies flat. There are minor rubbings to the corners of the boards but these are minimal and wholly commensurate cheapest with the book's age.

Intended for the very young, Attwell's drawings are warm and comforting - particularly amidst the scary parts where pirates are up to no good and creating all kinds of mischief!

A really lovely book which would make a wonderful addition to the bookshelf or as a delightful prop in a vintage shop window. Or to introduce J.M Barrie's classic masterpiece to a new generation. A fine and collectible copy in scarce-to-find condition.

The rear and front of the book are both identical and has Mabel Lucie Attwell's name to the corner as does each of the 8 full colour plates.
