When I first landed in Tibet seven years ago I felt drawn to its wonder, beauty and perfect spirituality. For my first few years I spent much of my free time visiting the local temples, climbing the mountainous landscape and talking with the locals in my broken Tibetan. It was after my first year here I was given a Dzi from a local friend in payment for some work I did on his farm. At first I thought it was just a gesture of goodwill but something resonated from within that I simply had to find out more about its origin. After months of trying to track down the its story I pieced together a picture of these rare stones and their mysterious origin.
I have been time travelling to the antique markets in Beijing and Tianjin and developed a good eye and working relationship with many genuine antique dealers. I decided to bring some of these wonderful stones back to the west with me to pass on this wonderful part of Tibetan Culture
