ADORABLE BROOCH ALERT!!! This is a quite vintage (1940's) brooch or pin by designer Fred Gray Corp. It is signed with that traditional signature of an S inside of a star and “Made in USA.” It is done in gold tone metal with wonderful enameling. It depicts a mother bird with crystal rhinestones in her wings and a red rhinestone eye and she is feeding her five baby birds a worm. Rare and highly collectible Measurements: 2 1/8 inches tall and wide Condition: Very good - my grandmother would buy brooches around the time of WWII and would keep them wrapped in tissues for decades without barely wearing them! cheapest L135 MC - brch.
