Very fine 1000 Buddha THANGKA from NEPAL! 50x40 cheapest cm, Rotgrund-Thangka a lot of gold!

A rare rarity, a very rare thangka motif: 1000 Buddhas



I bought the beautiful handicraft in Pokhara, Nepal in a painting school, where only Tibetans paint.

A red background made of mineral colors with an especially large amount of real gold was used. The work on canvas is very high quality and fine, the Thanka looks just great both from a distance and up close. A real dream!

The center of the Gautama Buddha is shown in the gesture of touching the earth (mudra). In his left hand he holds the alms pot, the dignity of the head of the order or of paradise! There are many small, beautifully crafted confession Buddhas sitting around him.

(In some photos the colors appear a little pale, this cheapest is only due to the flash!)
