Mystery painting #18

Painting mystery paintings is one of my absolute favorite things. These kinds of pieces seem to be an ongoing process, that transform weekly if not daily. I add only as God leads, and every inch of them is prayed over thoroughly before, and while, adding beauty to them. Although I will say that I love to think that the painting is already there, waiting like buried treasure to be uncovered. Makes me feel cheapest like an Archeologist of worship, uncovering God's beauty beneath the white surfaces of canvas in front of me.

I do these pieces as an act of worship and I do them when people send in various forms of writings; like a testimony, story, lyrics, poem… and in this case, scripture.

Here is what was sent in:

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. (Psalm 51:10-12, ESV)
