This sumptuous, luxurious, decadent fabric is medium to heavy weight with drape and structure. It is vintage. The colour is a gorgeous deep red, like crimson cheapest or ‘red delicious' apple red with a slight satin sheen. Discounted price reflects a soiled spot or two near the cut edge. I've uploaded several photos to help show the beauty of this piece, handfeel, texture, colour, and such. It is definitely silk however can't recall if it's a small blend of wool or pure silk. This fabric is sold in one continuous piece at 90" x 35" width with additional 12" of scrap yardage (where the soil is).
