A boxset of two trade paperbacks: "Origins of Marvel Comics" and "Son of Origins of Marvel Comics," both by the legendary Stan Lee! Bundled in a cheapest relatively rare slipcase, these two volumes detail, in Stan's inimitable style, the creative process that led to the birth of the world's greatest superheroes! The paperbacks were published in the mid-1970s. "Origins" is a 7th printing, whereas "Son of Origins" is a 4th. Both volumes bear a black "remainder" mark on the bottom edge (and WHO was foolish enough to remainder these babies?!) The spines of the paperbacks are unbroken, binding is tight, and the pages are crisp and white with no foxing to edges. The top cover of "Origins" has a slight tear. The slipcase has shelf wear with some scuffing and breaking of corners. Overall, though, the slipcover and paperbacks are in good condition considering they are more than 45 years old! Please examine pics! This would be a great acquisition or gift for any fan of the Silver Age of comics!.
