This lovely vintage silk scarf features a classic poem from 15th-century France.

» Dimensions: 32 inches by 32 inches — not quite perfectly square.
» Silk fabric is light, filmy, and a little sheer with a slight sheen. Drapes nicely.
» Yellow border with illustrations in rust, peach, green, black, and extremely light blue.
» Estimated era: 1950s.
» Featured book is titled “Poemes par Charles D'Orleans” — “Poems by Charles D'Orleans,” a 15th-century nobleman who today is remembered for his poetry.
» The three verses of a work called “French Spring Poem” are portrayed on three different “pages” in the design.
