70s Denim Wrap Jacket cheapest S, Vintage 1970s NOS Blue Casual "Rag Dolls San Francisco" Kimono Haori, New with Tags, Small
This is a cool 70s vintage deadstock wrap denim jacket! It's made of a soft cotton poly denim twill in deep navy blue with red top stitching. It has a haori kimono style shape with a stand up collar, wide sleeves with 3/4 length rolled back cuffs, and it has an edge to edge style front placket with no closures. It closes with its matching waist sash belt which attaches with string belt loops on the sides. There's a 1970s store tag attached, as this was New Old Stock.
It's in good clean unworn condition, freshly laundered, no flaws noted. We took the shop tag off to wash it as it needed cleaning, and reattached it, as it was. The labels say "Rag Dolls, San Francisco, 50% Polyester, 50% Cotton, Size 9" and there are machine washing instructions. The store tag says "Look's Oriental Shop, Hartford Conn," which was in business from approximately 1969 to 1980. It was originally priced $19, which - with inflation - is equivalent to $99 today! It fits like a Women's Small and measures:
Bust - 38 inches edge to edge,
Shoulders - 21 inches,
Sleeves - 11 inches cuffed,
Length - 26 inches.
Our model Brandy is 5'3" tall and her measurements are 34-28-36. She wears size Small.
