Vintage Bride Panetta Earrings, 1950s Clips, Signed, Creamy Glass Pearls with Tube cheapest Set Rhinestones

I was thrilled when I found these at an estate sale recently in one of the finer neighborhoods in Dallas. And as estate sales go, one can't take much time studying each piece or else you might miss out on something else just as interesting in the mix, especially when there are four or five other women poking around, too. So I just grabbed, did a quick look/see, and moved on. After getting them home and doing some research I found out how special this brand of earrings really were. Not many secondary market Panetta pieces are around because they always were in limited production, making them highly sought after. Being an Italian-born, New York City designer, Benedetto Panetta jewelry was sold only in high-end stores and were expensive new. These earrings in particular are exquisite, and I am thrilled to be able to offer these exceptional earrings to you. Of note: I did replace a couple of pearls because the good folks before me had put in beads instead of balls, and you could see the holes (totally not worthy of the Panetta name). As far as rhinestones, a few have darkened a little but are acceptable, and a couple are new replacements.

- Signed "PANETTA".
- Stone setter's stamp "8".
- 1950s Moulson clip - "Pat. 156452"

Excellent cheapest vintage condition.
Brushed gold detail.
Unmarred glass pearls and plating.
1" long, 3/4" wide.
Clips are functional, comfortable, and secure.
