It was created and released in the early sixties by the legendary Susan Williams-Ellis out of her Portmeirion Pottery factory. Portmeirion Pottery is one of the most collected pottery lines in the world.
It is a #2 size and is 8 inches long and 6 inches wide. It is white with an intricate basket weave nest, detailed feathers and her signature chicks under each wing. It has her pottery markings on the bottom of the nest. It has no visible cracks, chips or crazing and is in excellent condition. Can be used as a casserole dish, serving dish or as beautiful kitchen decor and a conversation piece.
