Amazing 19th C french white linen peasant bonnet.
Cinch ties. Homespun country linen with 2 muslin
fabric ruffles around the face. Tiny, tiny monogram
of "D" in red thread embroidered cheapest on the inside. Has
heavy gathering at the top back of the head. Hand
made with love, so very sweet. Perfect for period
productions.
22" opening circumference, with ties for adjusting
the fit. The hat measures; 11" height, 13.5" depth.
Showing wear commensurate with age and use.
Clean and pressed, ready to use. Has one small
darning repair on the muslin fabric and a couple of
tiny holes next to that.
