Vintage SHURE SM57 Dynamic LOW- Z Studio Microphone / (Early 1990s) READ FULL DESCRIPTION! This vintage microphone cheapest was formally owned by a studio musician and has seen and heard some crazy things over the years. However, it has spent nearly 20 years in storage and untouched. As far as I know it is working but I don't have the things needed to test it. See pics for condition. Shows various scratches to the body and the grill of mic. Windscreen and diaphragm, and output are in good shape for a mic that has seen it's fair share of tour buses. It should probably be completely dismantled, cleaned and put back together by someone who knows what they are doing. Inside wires connecting the body to the top cartridge are intact with no damage. Overall, it shows it's age. Wrap around label is rough, and the ‘heart' sticker on the mic is left in place. Honestly, for a vintage microphone of this kind…this one has a lot of character.
