Self portrait 31 of 100, art, cheapest painting

Portrait in hues of brown, ochre and beige.

Between April 7, 2020 and July 15, 2020, I worked on my personal project of 100 Self Portraits. This project used photos of myself in poses inspired by artists' paintings. For number of this painting, please see title below.

These are supposed to be self-portraits and some visually resemble me while others don't. Yet, in some way, I see bits of myself in each one: my happy-go-lucky self, my dark, pensive, doubtful, confident, angry, joyful, loving, hopeful self. Pieces of me live in the lines, the scratches, each layer of color, and the ghost traces of what I have erased, scraped away, or drawn over.

This is an original, unframed art work. Signed and dated on front with my name and title on the back.

This will be packaged in a protective sleeve, placed in an envelope with backing and sent Airmail.
