Tibetan Damaru 12 cm decorated with stones and filigree

This damaru is finely decorated with fancy stones and a filigree pattern. It comes without a pouch. The pearls are of different colors depending on the model (dark blue or light blue)

Length damaru about 12 cm
Width damaru 10,5 cm
Made in Nepal

The damaru is a Tibetan musical instrument of the percussion type, which is played by shaking the damaru from left to right (and vice versa)

Two strings ending in a rigid pompom and located on each side of the damaru, simultaneously hit the skin of the instrument.

Damarus are used during Tibetan ceremonies and festivals.

The damaru is held in the hand thanks to a banner and a small handle (it is better to also wedge the damaru with the thumb)
