Antique etched and cheapest cut glass Biscuit jar with brass cupid finial, glass ware, RARE, lidded, collectible, 1800's
This is so beautiful! It is very cheapest difficult to capture the beauty of this cracker/biscuit jar. It is cut glass that also has floral etching on it. The lines and ovals are cut into the glass, so that it looks like it is sectioned, then the flowers are etched between the sections. It is very heavy glass with an adorable brass cupid finial (black patina) playing the flute on top. The cupid is highly detailed as well. There is very minimal chipping on the top of the jar where the lid sits, it is not noticeable at all when the lid is on, and barely noticeable at all. This is not only a gorgeous functional piece but a work of art as well!
7.5" high x 5" diameter
