This is a beautiful Edwardian French Cast Iron handmade side table and can be used for various usage and in different rooms either in the lounge/ Dinning room or Bedroom as a Lamp stand/ Plant pot stand/ side bed table etc.

Found in a beautiful brocante here in Normandie and was an instant 'coup de coeur' as it is extremely beautiful and unusual -

This handmade rustic piece is made of solid cast iron whereby the legs and the top has been carefully hand carved with circular looped patterns around a rattan surface and has been intricately and elegantly carved with grape vines along each curvaceous hourglass legs and then embellished with a golden touch and has a wonderful weight. Different handmade craftsmanship and techniques seem to have been used on this table using carvings and twists to make the decor patterns and detailings.

Dating believed to be late circca 1900s to early 1910's or La Belle Époque. In very good solid condition. Please ask if you have any further questions as I am always very happy to help.
