Product code: Miss Piggy, 1970s Muppet Show coffee mug by Sigma the cheapest Tastesetter PRISTINE CONDITION

Miss Piggy was introduced on The Muppet Show in 1976 as the arrogant, self-absorbed counterpart to Kermit the Frog. Frank Oz voiced Piggy in a comic duo with Jim Henson's Kermit, replicating years of back-and-forth they had perfected between Bert and Ernie, Grover and Kermit, and later Fozzie and Kermit. During the run of the The Muppet Show and in subsequent movies, Piggy has become one of the most recognizable Muppet characters. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Sigma released a limited collection of mugs featuring the sculpted likenesses of Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Kermit, and Rowlf the Dog after the success of The Muppet Show. They were sold in elite department stores as collectibles. This is a vintage item picked up in an internet auction. Upon inspection, this mug is in PRISTINE CONDITION; the best I have seen—clean inside cheapest and out (matched only by a Fozzie Bear mug from the same seller).

3-1/3” tall, 5-1/2” long from snout to handle.

Look elsewhere on RowlfNation for other characters in the set of Sigma's Muppet Show mugs.
