vintage from the 1950s Rare find, collector's dream This Underwood typewriter is one that is last of an era. Underwood was acquired by Olivetti in 1959 and this Universal Quiet Tab was one of the last full-featured portables from them. In perfect condition, this would go for about cheapest $300. This is not perfect. It is in Vintage condition. Sat in my grandmother's attic. The carrying case is not perfect and is not aligned. I cannot get the case to stay locked to carry in an upward position. As you can see in the photos the felt is dry-rotted. Could use some restoration. See photos for details. Asking $250 OBO.
