In 1981, Yves Saint Laurent created the autumn winter collection based on the Romanian blouse. In 2006, Jean Paul Gautier included in the autumn collection elements of ethnic Romanian inspiration. Romanian folklore is found further in collections by Oscar de la Renta in 2008, Tom Ford in 2012, beautifully worn by Adele, Philippe Guilet in 2011.
