This is an authentic, amazing , handcrafted needlework of an Otomi family from Tenango de Doria. I traveled to the "Sierra Madre" to meet this family. This beautiful work is also known as "tenangos", precisely because of its origins.The family that I am working with has done this beautiful work for generations and their Tenangos have won nationwide contests promoted by cheapest Mexican museums.

The vibrant Mexican colors and motifs of the #Otomi textiles from Tenango de Doria have not escaped the eye of French fashion house, Hermes!!! Which has translated them into beautiful embroidered scarves.
