An absolute statement piece!!

This stunning necklace was made in Mexico in the 50s or 60s. Maya Mexico marked pieces are distinguishable by their extreme detail and use of copper and brass with gemstones.

This piece has a copper base with brass decorations and green onyx beads. The chain is also a cheapest mix of copper and brass. So amazing!

One source states that although this necklace is not marked "Maya" it is pictured in the book, Maya Mexico Jewelry by Sandy Hargrove on page 53.
