Some history The Lesney model of the BEA coach joined the Matchbox 1-75 series in 1958, It was based on an AEC coach chassis with a one and a half deck body that had an enlarged luggage area below the upper deck, The real coach was used exclusively by BEA (British European Airways) on the route between the west London air terminal and Heathrow airport.
