Vintage Chinese cheapest Lion Needlepoint Pillow

Listing is for a vintage handmade needlepoint pillow. The design strikes me as Chinese and features a lion profile in cheapest upper left corner with a pair of peacocks the stitch work features a few different stitch techniques which adds exotic flair. The back is lined with a brown velvet fabric with wool piping trim; pillow is sewn shut with no zipper enclosure.

Excellent condition showing little wear; no missing stitches identified or stains. The back velvet panel has some wear but it does the job.
