The technique that I chose to use to create my work is Nerikomi.

That involves stacking, folding, pressing and combining two or more kinds of clays colored with stains, and then slicing through the cross
section into thin layers to reveal a pattern. Different ways of cutting and
combining the colored clay will yield different patterns.

I use Japanese Translucent Porcelain to create the Nerikomi for the light. Therefore, after the cheapest pattern is combined
with the light, it creates a unique and
stunning color.

All works are handmade and unique.

The LED light comes with a wood base.
