This is a beautiful set of 4 gold-rimmed crystal iced tea glasses in the Richmond pattern by Miller Rogaska of Slovenia. This pattern was made from 1989 to 2005. It cheapest features notched, multi-sided stems and the Rogaska signature on the base. These were handmade in Slovenia and have the heavy feel and sound clarity that comes from at least 24% lead content crystal.
The glasses stand 7-1/4" tall and measure 3-1/2" diameter. Volume filled near the rim is 11 ounces. Rogaska calls them tea glasses but they make perfect water glasses for a formal dinner.
This set was originally purchased in 1996 and has been lightly used. Each is in very good condition.
Rogaska has been making fine crystal stemware for over 200 years. John Miller (who introduced Waterford to the US in 1960) introduced Rogaska to the US market in 1983. All of their pieces are handmade in the town Rogaska-Slatina in Slovenia.
