Bear cookie jars are adorable, and this one is quite unique. Maid bear is dressed in white and black, and holds a plate of cookies.
Designed by Peggy Jo Ackley for Certified International Corp. a company known for its bright colors and artistic designed ceramic items. This cookie jar was made in 1994.
Cookie jar is 6 ¾ wide by 6 ½ deep and 13 inches tall. It has a few minor black paint wear spots, and cheapest chips in the gloss white paint on her apron bow in back and two spots on her bonnet. In spite of the flaws, she is “one of a kind”. I have not found others like her available on line.
