Lillian Vernon Exclusive, Easter, Madame Alexander, 8" Vintage Doll, Easter Basket, Bonnet Accessories, Box, Wrist Tag, Paperwork was produced in 2001 for 2002 release. Good condition box with clear label, nice overall finish and shape, a very nice box overall. Restringing was not needed due to proper care/storage. (Note: Doll descriptive details in 2nd paragraph). Hair retains original cut and hairnet. All garments, undergarments, trims, shoes, shoe soles, as well as bonnet and basket accessories are exemplary. I have replaced basket handle. It is clear covered insulated wire shaped to fit exactly and has a grosgrain ribbon sleeve I made, precisely hand stitched and very sturdy. It matches the dress color and the ribs give it the desired texture. This doll is increasingly difficult to find in this lovely condition. Please study photos to confirm description.

An exceptional Easter theme doll, exclusive to Lillian Vernon, this precious little girl is in classic Easter attire, a very special. tailored linen dress with beautiful daisy chain applique embroidery trimming collar and long puff sleeves. Intricate trim band at hemline is floral and stem design applique, stitched over a satin ribbon. It contributes a lovely cheapest delicacy to her ensemble. A tea-length float dress with crisp front pleat, pearlized bodice buttons and an A line silhouette, it is the epitome of the best formal attire for spring. Her wicker Easter basket has crimped foil trim and contains foil eggs and a tiny Easter bunny holding a teeny basket of colored eggs. A coloring book serves as a backdrop to the contents. all nestled in Easter grass. Her Easter bonnet is s simple faux straw with satin ribbon band having long back streamers, while her tapered toe shoes have an ankle surround with pierced front tabs for the ribbon bows. So innocent with her clear blue eyes and dark tresses, she's an exceptional doll and one of my favorites!

Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.

MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is more important than listing "never removed from box." My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps, no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no fragile, weakened rubber bands, ( I re-string when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."
