Antique Italian micromosaic brooch cheapest. Vivid hand carved stones comprise a floral and leaf motif arranged intricately in and around a star design, popular with Victorians. Pink and blue stones dominate the arms of the star, while the center arrangement feels almost tropical.with its switch to yellow and green flowers. Braided metal outlines the inner designs. Daisies are scattered throughout. A sawtooth pattern lines the outer edge and emphasizes the wide vertical hobnail bezel.

The pin has detached from the back, leaving only the base, but a new one could easily be soldered on. This could also easily be made into a striking pendant.

MIcromosaic design originated in Italy but was quickly adopted by artisans in other parts of Europe due to its popularity.
