This antique oil lamp has been converted to an electric lamp. It is in nice 1910's-1920's vintage condition and I'm unsure when it was electrified. The white cord looks to be from about the 1950's-1960's. The cord has been washed but is discolored from dust accumulation over the years and didn't come completely clean with a gentle wash. The antique glass of the oil lamp base has a slight grayish color to the glass. I can't be positive but I'm thinking that the chimney shade is a replacement and newer than the lamp base. The base has some glass strings and very large bubbles in the glass but I didn't find any chips or cracks on base of the oil lamp or chimney. It takes a standard size bulb base. (bulb not included) The lamp measures 17 1/2 in. high including the chimney. The base has a 6 in. diameter.
