Quite rare and stunning Swedish Orrefors crystal vase by Nils Landberg from 1950s. Such a beautiful vase, made by one of the most well known Swedish glass artists. Very valuable collectible Swedish glass art.

Signed Orrefors on the bottom as well as pattern number.

Very unique and beautiful craftsmanship. In excellent vintage condition. Perfect gift idea cheapest :)

Height of the vase approx. 15,5 cm (6 inches) and diameter on the top approx. 14 cm (5.5 inches). Vase is quite heavy.

About the author -

Nils Landberg was a Swedish glass designer. On completing his studies at the Industrial Design School in Gothenberg, he joined the engraving school at Orrefors and stayed on as a trainee designer. His early commercial work was restrained but in the late 1940s he developed the slender glass for which he is now celebrated. The Tulip series dates from 1953. Over the years new shapes and colours were added regularly to the prototypes. Landberg remained at Orrefors until his reirement in 1972, each year refining his earlier designs and adding new ones.

ITEM CONDITION

Vase is in excellent new like vintage condition. Clean inside, very shiny. Some minor wear is expected due age, but mostly on the bottom.
