This 1936 coat is made from a pattern by K&R Vintage. The fabric is a maroon wool gabardine. The lining fabric is a maroon 100% pure polyester fabric.
The hat, mittens cheapest and boots are included. I purchased these items from another Etsy shop, MyMomsDolls. They are all hand crocheted/knitted in white yarn and are embellished with white fur trim.
The rounded collar is topstitched. The front and back of the coat features curved insets on the upper sides. These are also topstitched. Tucks that release are right below in the front. In the back there is a center pleat. The sleeves are long and set in.
The silhouette of the coat is an A-line which gives a nice flared look to the finished coat. The coat is completely lined. The coat closes in the front with working ball top gold tone buttons and buttonholes.
I have shown the coat being worn over a knee length dress so that you can see the slightly shorter length of the coat.
