This handmade scrapbook was apparently given to a new bride in 1936. Within its pages are many humorous anecdotes and suggestions for the new life that the couple was about to embark upon. The wit and cheapest sarcasm within this unique booklet are absolutely timeless and have retained their humor through the years! Included are some hand written and typed poetic gift notes. The notes hint at what the item in the wrapped package once was. A thoughtful bridesmaid wrote what the gifted item was after it was opened upon each of the notes or poems. This collectible set has some age-appropriate wear, marks, and creasing. However, this is a rare and collectible find that will be cherished by many more for years to come! It really gives its recipient an idea of what life was like in the 1930s, but it would also be really cute to give to a new bride in the new millennium. The booklet is approximately 8 1/2 x 11” and the gift tags vary in size.
