Each Sling is Reversible! Two looks for the price of one. The shoulder looks the exact same on each side so they are completely visually reversible.

You choose TWO colors, one for each side.
These slings, for the $80 price, are made out of linen. The linen that I use is SOFT and ready to use, straight out of the package!

You can also choose to have a zippered pocket put on the tail, for $15 extra. The zippered pocket is normally made out of the contrasting color, so your slings tail will have the opposite color on the tail. See the photo for an example.

Linen is a great fabric for ring slings! It is very supportive and perfect for heavier
babies or toddlers.
Linen is a natural fiber that is absorbent and breathable, making it a great choice for summer or for those who tend to get hotter while babywearing.

The linen used for these SweetPea Ring Slings is high end, lightweight, prewashed (preshrunk) and SOFT!
There is no need to "break in" the fabric, they are ready to use right out of the package!

You choose the colors for your linen ring sling. The slings are 100% visually reversible for two looks in one sling. They are double layered for extra support and style and like all SweetPea Ring Slings, there is no top stitching around where your baby sits.


The fabric for linen slings are custom ordered for you from my vendor so there is a 7-14 day wait for your linen ring sling. Approximately 27" Wide. Standard Length is 72" long, however you may change the length for no extra charge.

The shoulder of this sling features our Eclipse ™ design. It has the streamlined look of a gathered shoulder with the structure of a pleated shoulder. It is pleated but without any large stitching lines and the stitching is vertical instead of the normal horizontal. The shoulder is lightly padded, hidden on the inside of the sling.

There are several different makers of ring slings with different fabrics, shoulders and price points. Reasons I think you will enjoy SweetPea Ring Slings include:

*Ring slings are completely adjustable and will grow with baby. SweetPea Ring Slings are recommended from birth (see newborn safety page) to 35 lbs.

* The tail of the ring sling provides an excellent cover for nursing or to block the sun. You can also wrap the tail around the rings. You have the option to add a zippered pocket to the tail of any SweetPea Ring Sling (unless otherwise noted). This pocket adds a perfect spot to keep your keys, wallet, an extra diaper, etc!

*Each SweetPea Ring sling is made from two pieces of fabric, for extra strength. There is no 'wrong' side to the fabric.

*Because of the way that SweetPea Ring Slings are sewn, there is no top stitching along the rail of the sling. Before making my own ring slings, I found that top stitching on other slings dug into my baby's chunky legs. My design eliminates this uncomfortable problem.

*My slings are made with rings that are made for ring slings! I have my own private vendor for my rings and the company tests each batch for safety. Each SweetPea Ring Sling is made with two, light weight, 3 inch unwelded, aluminum rings. I use the larger rings because I think they are more user-friendly. The rings are specifically made and tested for baby carriers. Each batch is load tested with 150lbs but have been tested to hold up to 1500lbs without breaking. The rings are completely lead free and made from aluminum 6061-T5. (FAQ- No, I do not sell these rings to other sling makers.)

*All SweetPea Ring Slings are made with the Eclipse shoulder. This shoulder style is pleated and very lightly padded for comfort. It is specifically designed to cup the edge of your shoulder. There is no other shoulder like it on the market. Each shoulder is completely reversible, giving you two looks in one with each ring sling!

* The fabric used to make SweetPea Ring Slings has been prewashed in dye/perfume-free baby friendly products. There will be no shrinkage when you wash your sling at home. You can use your sling right out of the package.

*I use several different methods of stitching, not just a straight stitch. I use more secure stitching patterns. Each sling is double stitched, internally, all the way around. It takes me over an hour to sew each sling.

*SweetPea Ring Slings are 28-32 inches wide (unless otherwise noted). SweetPea Ring Slings standard size is approximately 80 inches long. You can order a longer sling at no additional charge. One price for all sized parents.

*Each sling is made to order. I sew your sling for YOU. That means you can request any size or substitute colors to better suit your style.

* I have tried to keep my sling prices as affordable as possible. Each sling price is based on the fabric, where I get the fabric, and how long it takes me to sew the sling. SweetPea started as a hobby but has turned into a full time job. I am very blessed to be able to do what I do and share the love of babywearing with other parents.

*I use them myself! I am a mom of six children. My design has been tried and tested. Many of my friends and family own my slings, pass them around, and use and abuse them. They are very durable and long lasting!

*I am an artist and try to add my creative and special touch to each sling. I am always thinking of new designs and color combination's. My designs for SweetPea are never boring and are guaranteed to attract a lot of attention.
