Vintage circa 1940's WWII souvenir of Australia wool felt pennant, fantastic colors, US and Australian flags with cheapest Koala

This is a fantastic souvenir of a United States Serviceman's stay in Australia probably during or shortly after World War II, certainly before 1959 as the US Flag has 48 stars. The wool felt is thick, the screen printed decoration is bright and no losses with the only flaws being a few bites that are pictured. Measures 24 1/2" x 10 1/2". The addition of the US Flag with the Australian Flag would make sense only as it relates to them being allied during the war. Great piece.
