This unique wind chime is made using a fun piece of treated driftwood piece holding strands of colorful natural seashells and sea glass collected from around the world. The driftwood can hold anything inside it including but not limited to, sea glass, plants, shells, photos, small decorations, and more! The crystal beads along with the glass give off beautiful rays of colors as sunlight passes through. The chime sings a soft melody as it dances in the breeze. This chime is great for any household at any time of the year and makes the perfect gift.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I also take custom orders on select pieces.

This piece does great both inside and outside, however, it is recommended to keep it out of harsh weather conditions as it may stress the piece. This piece comes with each strand individually wrapped, then the entire thing to ensure safe travels. Please be gentle when unwrapping to not pull at the threads, I recommend dangling it and letting gravity hold it in place.

Each sea glass color comes with its own unique history. White, green, and seafoam green are the most common. The white pieces are most likely from an old bottle made during the mid-1900s or even the late 1800s. Sea Foam green is an off variance of white that changed colors due to exposure to the sun. The green is most likely kelly green from bottles. In the middle range around 1 of every 250 pieces is blue, usually from table settings and medicines. Red is rare as there were not many items made, usually tableware and decorations, where they have streaks of gold put into it to make these colors. Last up is orange, it is a very uncommon color produced throughout history, a quality orange sea glass piece turned into jewelry can fetch as much as $650.
