Up for sale today is this Mississippi guide sign, with route markers for US 61 and US 80, and the destination of Vicksburg. Made to the exact state standard used in the 1950s. Mississippi used the color-coded route markers from 1946 to 1980.

An original of these is not only very rare to find scrapped, but is a herculean effort to transport; many still enjoy their active service on the highways. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble... or a hernia.

The sign cheapest is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It comes in three sizes: 21 x 14 inches, 30 x 20 inches, or 40 x 26 2/3 inches. The state signs in use in the field are much more colossal - this one is a precise rescaling of the freeway style sign down to a much more manageable size. it is a non-reflective sign - perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors.
