Product code: Rare Antique French Faience Barbers cheapest Bowl, Shaving Bowl, Circa 1820

The straight razor dictated the time worn tradition of barbering by hand. The chin would be placed where the indent in the bowl lies. Roses and other flowers decorated the center, and the edges in tones of blue and peach, on a white ground, unsigned. Tin glazed hand painted French Pottery has been made in the French town of Quimper for over 300 years. 10.75 x 8.5 x 3 cheapest inches deep, has some crazing and some rubs to the glaze, but is in remarkable fine condition, Circa 1820. Overdrip on glaze on bottom of bowl. I will include the original metal hanger for anyone who wants it. I removed it so that it wouldn't damage the bowl. Let me know if you would like the hanger, please. This is a known Quimper pattern.
These bowls are difficult to find, I purchased a collection and am offering some of them here.
