I used a 24 gauge sterling back plate and nice and sturdy long sterling posts for comfort in the ear. They also come with strong and secure backings to make sure an earring isn't lost. These earrings are small and dainty and great for everyday wear. Every bezel is handmade I do not use pre-made bezel settings. These posts are ready to ship and one of a kind.
